Trips and visits are an important part of a child’s learning experience, and will provide first-hand memories that stay with a child far longer than simply reading about something in a book or researching it on the internet.
At Salcombe Prep our teaching staff are enthusiastic about planning school trips to enhance our children’s education. We offer a diverse array of trips, some directly linked to the curriculum, while others, like residential trips, focus on enrichment, character development and team building.

Clubs
Something for everyone
We are continually exploring fresh initiatives aimed at nurturing the creativity of our pupils, empowering them to discover and pursue their passions. Our co-curricular clubs, available both during and after school hours, and are predominantly led by our committed staff members. On occasion, we enlist the support of professionals based on the specific nature of the activity or activities.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Helping you with your busy schedule
We understand traditional school hours may not always work for families. To help you with your busy schedule, Salcombe offers wraparound care for all children during term time, which run alongside a section of afterschool clubs.
Early Morning Club:
Pre-School and Pre-Prep: 8am-8:30am
Prep: 8am – 8:20am
After School Club:
Pre-School: 3:30pm – 6pm
Prep-Prep: 4pm - 6pm
Prep: 4:15pm – 6:15pm
Parents are able to personalise their wraparound and club requirements and book directly through Cognita Connect, our parent portal.
